We're building the tool every SENDCo we know wishes existed.

My School View Ltd was incorporated in March 2026. SENDCo View is our first product, built around the SEND Reform White Paper and shaped by the SENDCos who'll use it every day.

The new SEND reforms are the biggest structural change since 2014.

Every school in the country has to rebuild its SEND systems by September 2029, digitally, with co-production, with structured evidence. The existing tools were built for the old standard. The new one needs new tooling.

We started building this in early 2026 because nobody else was building it for the schools the new reforms will hit hardest: secondary schools and MATs with high SEN Support caseloads, where the existing tools don't fit.

Our March 2026 consultation response.

In March 2026 we submitted formal evidence to the DfE's consultation on the SEND Reform: Putting Children and Young People First white paper. Our response argued for live MIS data integration, structured digital ISPs, parent co-production through a portal, published interoperability standards, and the ISP as a living evidence base for transition assessments. SENDCo View is built to that brief.

You can read the full response in our resources hub, or download the submitted PDF directly [PDF coming soon].

“We urge the DfE to avoid mandating a single national ISP platform built centrally. A better approach would be to publish a clear ISP data standard and interoperability specification, then allow the market to deliver compliant tools.”

Two of us. One mission.

Co-founder, SEND lead

Leanne Awcock

Leanne has spent over 25 years in education. She has built EHCP evidence packs by hand more times than she can count and is the reason SENDCo View exists in the form it does. Her job is to make sure every feature decision is checked against what a SENDCo actually needs, not what a software founder thinks they need.

Co-founder, product

Matthew Haysom

Matthew is the product and operations lead. He looks after software development and the day-to-day running of the business — the build, the integrations, and the unglamorous work of keeping everything running. He's the one who turns “we need this thing” into a working feature, and he makes sure the data keeps flowing: MIS in, evidence packs out, nothing lost along the way.

Advisory board taking shape.

We're looking for SENDCos, SEND-research voices, and school senior leaders to advise on the build. If that sounds like you, write to leanne.awcock@myschoolview.co.uk.
