1. Can you produce a pupil’s attendance trend for the last two terms in under five minutes?
2. Is every intervention a pupil receives logged with hours, cost and an outcome?
3. Do you record professional involvement (EP, SALT, OT, CAMHS) against the pupil, with dates?

B. The EHCP request

4. Can you assemble an EHCP evidence pack in under two hours?
5. Does the pack draw attendance, behaviour and attainment from your MIS without anyone re-keying it?
6. Has every EHCP request you’ve made in the last year gone through without the LA asking for more evidence?

C. Plans and reviews

7. Are your SEN Support plans held in a system that links the plan to the provision record, rather than in Word or a spreadsheet?
8. Are APDR cycles recorded with dates, so you can show the review happened?
9. Can parents see and contribute to their child’s plan without you emailing them a document?

D. The next twelve months

10. Could you report your SEND cohort by area of need, provision and cost, as numbers, without building a spreadsheet?
11. Could you show an inspector delivery rates for provision, not just the plan?
12. Have you started structuring plans so they’ll transfer into a statutory ISP format?
