Cookie policy

A deliberately minimal approach. No marketing cookies, no advertising cookies, no third-party tracking.

Last updated: 30 April 2026 · Version 1.0

This cookie policy explains how myschoolview.co.uk uses cookies and similar technologies. In line with our privacy policy, we've taken a deliberately minimal approach. We don't use marketing cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party tracking cookies.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. It's used to remember things between page visits — your preferences, whether you've seen a banner, anonymous statistics about how the site is used.

Some cookies are essential for a website to function. Others are used for analytics, marketing, or personalisation.

What cookies we use

The marketing site (myschoolview.co.uk)

The public marketing site sets no cookies of its own. We use Vercel Analytics for performance monitoring; Vercel Analytics works with anonymous, aggregated data and doesn't set tracking cookies.

The product app (signed-in area)

When you sign in to SENDCo View itself, the product app sets one essential cookie to keep you signed in.

This cookie is essential — the product app can't function without it. It's cleared when you sign out or close the browser.

Cookies we don't use

For clarity, we don't use:

  • Google Analytics or any Google tracking
  • Google Tag Manager
  • Facebook Pixel or any social media tracking
  • Advertising cookies of any kind
  • Marketing automation cookies (HubSpot, Marketo, etc.)
  • Third-party retargeting

How to control cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. The major browsers all allow you to:

  • See what cookies are stored
  • Delete specific cookies or all cookies
  • Block cookies from specific sites
  • Block all cookies (note: this may prevent some sites from working)

Browser-specific instructions:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies

Changes to this policy

We'll update this policy if our cookie usage changes. The “last updated” date at the top will reflect the most recent change.
