The pack the local authority recognises. In a few clicks.

Live attendance, behaviour, exclusions, grades, interventions, parent voice, professional involvement, medical needs and outcomes. Ten sections, every one sourced, every one audit-trailed. The structured PDF the LA expects, generated from the work you've already done.

EHCP evidence pack PDF preview, 10 sections

Three to four hours per pupil. Down to three to four clicks.

A SENDCo putting together an EHCP evidence pack today is checking five systems and pasting into Word. Attendance from the MIS. Behaviour from a different module of the MIS. Interventions from a spreadsheet or provision-mapping tool. Professional involvement from email threads and meeting notes. Parent voice from a Word document somewhere on the shared drive.

It takes three to four hours per pupil. SENDCo View takes the same data, already entered through normal daily work, and generates the structured PDF. A few clicks. One pupil. Done.

Ten sections. Every one sourced.

A stylised representation of the PDF. Every section carries a source badge, so your LA can trace any line back to its origin.

Nothing is AI-generated. Every line is sourced.

Automatic, from your MIS

  • Attendance trends and lesson-level data
  • Behaviour incidents and severity trends
  • Exclusions with dates and reasons
  • Attainment data and progress against targets
  • Some medical data (conditions, allergies, EpiPen status)

Logged in SENDCo View, daily work

  • APDR cycles and graduated approach
  • Interventions with hours, cost, provider
  • Professional involvement (EP, SALT, OT, CAMHS)
  • EHCP outcomes with RAG status
  • Pupil voice and parent voice (the latter through the portal)

Nothing in this pack is “AI-generated.” Every line is sourced, either from your MIS or from the SENDCo's logged work. The LA gets exactly what it asks for, with the audit trail to prove it.

Every pack is logged. Every export is auditable.

Every time a pack is generated, the audit trail records who generated it, when, for which pupil, and which sections were included. If your LA ever asks “where did this number come from?”, you can answer in three clicks. If Ofsted ever asks “show me your evidence trail”, you can export the audit log for any pupil, any date range.

Common questions about EHCP packs.

Can the SENDCo edit the pack before sending?
Yes. The PDF is generated with all sections by default; the SENDCo can omit specific sections, add commentary, or include cover notes before final export.
Does this replace writing the EHCP itself?
No. Schools generate the evidence pack. The local authority writes the EHCP. SENDCo View produces the structured input the LA expects, in the format they recognise.
What if the pupil is on SEN Support but not yet at EHCP stage?
The same data structure supports earlier intervention. The “evidence pack” becomes the SEN Support evidence pack, useful for showing the graduated approach before requesting an EHCP.
Can we customise the pack template?
Founding schools can request template adjustments. Standard accounts get the default template, which has been built against the most common LA expectations.
Is the safeguarding section ever populated?
No. The pack contains a stub indicating “safeguarding records exist” with the appropriate role-based redaction. Full safeguarding records stay in your DSL system (CPOMS, MyConcern, etc.).
